Guide Network

Ireland & Northern Ireland trusted guide network

ICCTA can help match delegations, FAM trips, travel trade groups, cultural visitors and institutional partners with reliable local guides, bilingual support and cultural interpreters across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Curated, not a public directory

Local expertise for serious cultural and tourism exchange

The guide network is designed to support practical cooperation. Instead of publishing a public list of individual guides, ICCTA works on an enquiry basis to understand the visitor profile, language needs, destination plan and cultural objectives before matching suitable local support.

  • Delegation and institutional visit support.
  • FAM trip and travel trade familiarisation support.
  • Chinese-language or bilingual local interpretation where available.
  • Destination storytelling, cultural context and practical reception support.

From the original site

Professional guide and partner pathway

The previous website included a Tour Guide ID / membership concept. In V3 this is reframed as a professional partner pathway: guides and local experts can be considered for ICCTA-aligned cultural tourism, delegation, FAM trip and China-ready reception work.

This keeps the programme useful commercially while staying aligned with the association's non-profit cultural tourism purpose.
