Suggested Itinerary

Day by day

This is an inspirational sample route. It can be adjusted for dates, group size, pace and special interests.

Day 1

Arrival in Taipei: old streets and five-star comfort

Arrive in Taipei with dedicated airport meet-and-greet and private transfer. Begin gently with a walk around Dadaocheng, one of old Taipei’s most atmospheric districts, listening to stories of tea, fabric trading and elegant historic streets. Check in to Illume Taipei or similar and enjoy a relaxed hotel buffet dinner.

Day 2

Nantou and Hehuan Mountain: Swiss-style lunch and Milky Way sky

After breakfast, drive south toward Nantou. Enjoy a local mountain-style lunch with a Swiss-inspired indigenous flavour. In the evening, continue to Hehuan Mountain Dark Sky Park, where professional guiding introduces one of Asia’s rare internationally recognised dark-sky environments. Stay at Sunshine Villa or similar.

Day 3

Sun Moon Lake: Grand Han-Lai lakefront retreat

Wake naturally after a night under the stars and travel to Sun Moon Lake, the heart of Taiwan’s lake scenery. Check in to the newly opened Grand Han-Lai Sun Moon Lake, set on the Hanbi Peninsula with broad lake views, refined lounges and resort-style leisure. Dinner is arranged as a premium lake-view dining experience.

Day 4

Taichung: historic market aesthetics and barbecue culture

Enjoy a misty Sun Moon Lake morning before travelling to Taichung. Visit Taichung Second Market, a century-old market known for its hexagonal layout and nostalgic local snacks. In the evening, experience one of Taichung’s signature pleasures: a refined barbecue dinner with lively local atmosphere. Stay at Le Méridien Taichung or similar.

Day 5

Zen architecture, vegetarian cuisine and sound healing

Visit the Bodhisattva Temple, also known as Weimo Hall, to experience the calm dialogue between exposed concrete, greenery and Zen-inspired spatial design. Enjoy a carefully prepared vegetarian lunch, then take part in a sound-healing session, allowing resonance and stillness to bring the journey into a quieter inner rhythm. In the evening, explore Yizhong Street for local Taiwanese food.

Day 6

Return home with a full spirit

Wake slowly in Taichung and enjoy breakfast with city views. A private transfer takes the group to the airport for the return journey, carrying memories of architecture, sky, lake, food and mindful restoration.
